Real estate developer Emerald Bay Equity is selling or seeking a joint venture partner for two acres on Upper Queen Anne, including the Metropolitan Market site.
Officials of Jones Lang LaSalle, a real estate advisory firm, announced yesterday that Emerald Bay hired them to market the deal.
Emerald Bay has named the site The Collection on Queen Anne. It's on Queen Anne Avenue North between Boston and Howe streets. The collection is made up of two completed projects, Eden Hill and Sweetbrier, and the Metropolitan Market property and one other site.
Emerald Bay has been seeking to redevelop the Metropolitan Market for several years.
Emerald Bay officials say the collection can accommodate a total of 250,000 square feet of retail and multi-family development.
Jones Lang LaSalle's David Young, Seth Heikkila and Corey Marx are representing Emerald Bay.
