New steakhouse coming to Seattle

Sullivan's Steakhouse, a national chain, is moving into the space that Union Square Grill formerly occupied.
Janet Backus of the Grubb & Ellis real estate brokerage represented the Texas-based restaurant company, which is leasing nearly 9,925 square feet at Two Union Square, 601 Union St. Sullivan's signed a 10-year deal.
The first Sullivan's in Washington will be two levels. Backus said a contractor is at work reconfiguring the space.
Sullivan's is the latest chain to open in Seattle. Among the others are The Capital Grille, Morton's and Ruth's Chris. Sullivan's, a 1940s Chicago-style steakhouse, will offer live jazz seven nights a week when it opens this summer.
