Commercial real estate sales here at 20-year low

GVA Kidder Mathews expects only about $1 billion in sales for this year in the county, the lowest level in 20 years.
The Seattle-based commercial real estate services firm says this compares with $8 billion in sales for 2007. Blair Howe, a GVA consultant, said the drop reflects falling prices and the difficulty investors are having getting financing.
